After Dinner Conversation @ AWP 2025

After Dinner Conversation is going to the Association of Writers and Writer’s Programs (AWP) 2025 in Los Angeles.

What is AWP? Basically, it's the biggest writer and press convention in the US, maybe the world. So big, in fact, there are only 3-4 cities in the US that can hold it. It's the place people go to see panels, and meet other writing and publishing people/nerds.

For the last 2-3 years After Dinner Conversation has been lurking trying to decide if we were big enough to go. After five years it seems it's finally time. It also helps that it's in Los Angeles this year so it's just a short drive. We can finally start putting faces to all the names we’ve seen in the literary magazine community. Mix, mingle... heck, we might even need to get business cards....or, maybe not. Let's not get ahead of ourselves.

Point being, this is step. A step for the magazine going out into the larger community and world. We will be sure to post nerd-photos when we get back.
