Experimenting With "Coil"

We are experimenting with Coil. No idea if this technology will take off, but it’s a pretty clever idea. Basically, you pay $5 a month and include a browser extension add-on. Then, as you are on a website, you make micro-payments to that website out of your $5 based on how long you are on the website.

It all happens in the background, but gets people like us paid without having to include pesky ads.

You can learn more about it here If this ever got wide acceptance, it solves the web monetization problem newspapers have. Now, will it catch on? Only time will tell.
